Hey all.
Joe (son) & I fished the inland waters off Rockport & Aransas Pass last Thu-Sat (3/20-22). Thursday was the first calm day aftter 48 hours of 40 knot winds & rain. Ethan Wells of Rockport guided and helped us get into fish and land a few. The water temps were pretty cool still ranging from high 50s to mid 60s making the fish a little challenging to find and they switched easily from happy to nervous after the first cast.
We had a great time. It was our first saltwater experience & know we’ll be back. I keep hearing that “it’s alot easier than this”.
Brett H. – thanks for all the great tips & help. Let’s get out on the water together!
Here’s Joe’s first redfish…
