Fishing around Gatlinburg, TN?

looking at doing some fishing there during the family vacation in 2 weeks. Should have a day or two to go and fish some. I was thinking of doing a smallmouth float one day? I could bring my kayak but i am open to guide recomendations. And then probally some trout fishing too. I figured that the mountain streams would probally be a little on the warm side and should not be fishing in august but i could be wrong. any info is apprechiated!

You can fish the mountains in August, and frankly you’d have a hard time getting out of Gatlinburg to go smallmouth fishing anyway.
