    Why do they cost so much? I was under the impression they were pretty useless except for weird effect. I’m real interested in seeing some images from any of you who are using one.

    WWWWWWWWWWWWIDE ANGLE… Seriously Wide… glass is extremely difficult to manufacture…

    i was going through a few of the older posts and thought I’d chime in on this one .. I just picked up the sigma 10mm .. I knew it would be a specialized lens when I got it, but IMO it was worth the $$$ just for those couple of shots/situations where it shines!

    My next lens will be a super-wide but not quite fisheye. I believe as a fisherman, I’d get more use out of something like this:
