    Zach,

As a new member, I just want to say I love the board. It encompasses three of my favorite hobbies: Fishing, photography and writing. (Should you add golf, I would need advice on a good divorce lawyer).

At any rate, I’ve noticed that there are times when you use fill flash and times when you don’t. How do you judge this? Do you allow for the pop-up flash to activate on its own or do you do it manually? Or do you use a different flash setup?

    Hey WebEd-

I trigger the pop up flash manually.

Zach covered fill flash pretty well, I just wanted to chime in with an endorsement of the SB600.

Thanks for the input. I have the SB-600 to go with the D70s. Haven’t had a chance to experiment with it in the field yet. Hopefully soon….

    Zach,

Fishing’s been good, but the big browns seem to be running a little behind– shouldn’t be too long.

BTW, the Omni-Bounce for SB-600 is $16 at the BAMO (Big-Ass Mail Order) camera stores.
