So .. The whole family went to Montana this weekend. We spent 4 days @ my in-laws cabin on Henrys and had a fantastic time. On a side note … The pace was very chill, the weather was fantastic, and the fishing was neither fast or slow. Perfect.

Did a float on the Big Hole with my dad. I look forward to floating the Big Hole in sept/oct and this year did not disappoint!

We all went out and on the lake, rented a canoe, and tooled around for an afternoon. Not much fishing on this outing… but a beautiful day none-the-less.

Went exploring and found some new water to hit next time.

My boy finally expressed an interest in going fishing with dad and grandpa! We had a awesome time throwing rocks! 😀

My dad caught the fish of the trip @ Bakers Hole. Yup, the worm does it again!  😉

On a family note : My wife won the Trout Unlimited “Making Memories” photo contest with a photo of myself and my son! She said “Well now that I have my own rod, I’ll have to learn to fly fish” .. Woohoo! Hopefully, I’ll have some wonderful shots of here fly fishing here soon!

    Here is the photo:

Great pic, I entered this pic of my son, but didn’t make the cut. After seeing the other pics, I need to step it up next year. I just couldn’t resist entering his pic with that look of pride after getting a fish on a dry and a 2 wt.
