Closing out my goose season tomorrow. Will be in the blind solo for the moring. (This will put the magnifying glass sharply on my calling skills…or lack there of).

Afternoon should be good with 2 days of crappy weather coming in. I’d give a limb for a warm pair of boots.

Been shooting the Winchester xpert steel, it is okay. Shooting hevishot is ridiculous, i dont even shoot it for turkey, if that bird isn’t within 25 yards, im not shooting it, there is no point, half the fun is seeing how close you can get the. (sorry Dave, looks like we disagree with that a little)…

If that Tom is dragging beard, has 3 hens with him and the jig is up, he starts to turn to walk away, and I know I can drop him, I’m gonna take that shot confidently.

Oh i know what you mean Dave, and wasn’t suggesting that you wounded birds, or that i wounded birds…. Just saying, if they dont do it the way i want them too, i let them walk, i know i could kill it, but for me, its not about the kill, its about the trickeration.
