I included both the Nikon and Canon mount of these lenses as I’m pretty sure they are the same availability save the mount type.

If you shoot with the Zeiss ZF/ZE mount glass what is/are your favorites and what camera bodies/body do you shoot with. Right now I shoot the 100 f/2 and a 25 f/1.4 is on the way and am considering a 35 and a 50.
I also use these on the D3 and D3x bodies. Any information, good, bad or indifferent would be welcome, thanks in advance.

I have the 50 f/1.4 ZE that I use on a 5D Mark II. It’s an awesome lens, great for portraits, shallow DOF, low light and landscape work with an unbelievable amount of detail. It’s small, well built and relatively cheap. I like to use a focusing screen made for shallow stuff, helps getting the focus right. If you’re in DSLR video, this lens is a must have. The focus ring moves a whopping 270 degrees (I think..) from infinity to min. focusing distance, making follow focus much, much easier.

    An example:

I’m dreaming of the 21ZE for landscape work…

    Cheers,

Even though the image is small it’s easy to see the clarity and sparkle in her eyes and the bokeh is lovely, thank you.
