We have Lyme’s here . Locally the info is as such-
there are two kinds of ticks that transmit…
“blacklegged tick (Ixodes scapularis; often referred to as a ‘deer tick’) and the western blacklegged tick (Ixodes pacificus) are the species known to transmit this disease causing agent”
The ticks commonly encountered in Canada and many other locales are Wood ticks a different
