Zach and Richard,
You obviously keep up with industry news more than a lot of us. I am curious, is there a big rush among the two big DSLR manufacturers (Nikon and Canon) to create more and more affordable full frame sensor bodies, if for no other reason, than to maintain a need for their professional line of lenses–primarily the big prime lenses. For example, I can buy a 400mm f 5.6 L series lens from Canon for about $1,100. With the digital conversion it becomes a 640/f5.6 or basically a $5,000 lens.
Or, will both eventually move to more and more digital series lenses and bank on the market completely converting?
