My wifes aways complaining I spend too much time behind the camera and not enough time in front of it. Go through our family albums of special occassions, trips etc and Im rarely found.

So I had a friend grab some snaps of me with his G9.

She might not appreciate the ensemble but I on the other hand have learned never to remove my face mask and hood. My noggin stands out like a pile of coal in a field of snow ;D

    Yep.
Thinning hairlines have a tendancy to do that. You should see the back side its even hotter

Oops – lied – the photo isn’t in the set.

    Here it is tho:

Oh – and my forehead would put yours to shame if I took off my hat. Actually, there’d be no picture then, save for a bright, white, polar bear in a snowstorm type of shot.

As always…IA the Photography Forum is a wealth of knowledge!

This thread should be titled, “Exposure Compensation for Receding Hairlines”.

Also, I too have only a handful of pictures of myself.  My wife is actually a good photographer and has her own camera but she hates to carry it around.  Furthermore, she hates to have her own picture taken.  Thus, we have only a few pictures of ourselves in the albums.

Here is a rare shot of me in full hairline recession glory.  Taken candidly by my wife two years ago.

Good call Neal – it’s obvious (from his work that) John (and any good photographer) pays his or her dues in the field – as much or more than hunters.
