Hi Carter, Mine are not real thin, I would guess about 4 or 5 mm ?

I have some thin mount Hoyas and I find they have all come loose or fallen apart and I think it’s because they’re not solid enough.
The old ones never fell apart.

Now I would only use a B&W or Rodenstock and am in the process of replacing all of mine..

    Not a lot in it – 15 % maybe ?

Nikon filters used to be veru well made when I was a Nikon guy (85-95), I even stil use a couple of their UV’s – I don’t know what they’re like now though..

The Hoyas up to at least the HMC models are definitely nothing special.
