    The D80 has debuted, as expected with a new kit lens, the 18-135mm AF-S DX.

    What is “VR”?

    VR= vibration reduction. The same as Canon’s IS=Image stabilization.

    The 70-200 f2.8 VR is a much better buy, not only because of the VR feature, but the build quality of the lens, the fast f2.8 aperture, and the superior optics they put into this lens. I sold mine last month after the Canon switch and I can say its one of Nikon’s best, IMO.
