    Looking at the pictures in the photoblog, got me to thinking about the copper john.

    I have not fished a copper john here in the ozarks, but always add a new patern every few months to my tying.

    In the Smokies I use a lot of size 14, 16, 18 with a 16 a copper body a go-to.

    Red, copper, and lime green are the most common copper johns for me out west but I’m not sure about TN.
