Actually I think the Caney would provide more wading opportunities than the Cumberland. The public access points on the Cumberland are seperated by long driving distances; a boat provides a better means to them.
The Caney can be fished from just about any pull-off along its west flank from the Dam to Lancaster. From the right bank looking downstream the primary entry points are a little more spread out, but not like on the
Anybody willing to show a guy around and wet a fly, or dry as it may be? Sure would cut down on the investigating part of it.

You’re almost in luck. I don’t own any overalls, but then I don’t own any underwear either–and I play the jug.
What dates will you be in our fair state? I work Friday-Sunday, am usually off Monday-Thursday, I also 100% wade but have a Jon boat and a 12hp Mud Buddy long tail to get me away from the access points (which are getting fewer) so I can have solitude.

Splitshot, bd and riverrat. OMG 3 offers. I will be arriving in Nashville saturday March, 11th early evening and will be leaving the 19th early in the AM. The only family thing I have to do that week, is go to the aquarium in Chattanooga for the day. That day is not yet set though. I will press for a set date on that.

I understand that aquarium has a “trout stream” with all the different trout species at their water-quality and temperature-appropriate levels.
