Well, with Thanksgiving over, the tree and lights up at the house, and some “cool” weather finally making it down here in South Carolina, I am really starting to ease into the Holiday Spirit.

Dude I’ve been kicking myself for not getting a picture of you in that since our trip.

Hey you can take all the pics you want on our next sub zero boat ride. Your ears will be turning

Ah…the full rabbit fur bomber hat…brings back memories of Michigan winter steelhead trips and Canadian bird watching jaunts in sub zero temperatures…like a weekend spent looking for snowy owls, hawk owls, and great grey owls around Sault St. Marie with a high of -15 and a low of
    -42…and that was without windchill.

I saw you mentioned polarized shades – earlier this year I got a pair of Action Optics Fishbones and I LOVE them.

The ears though were warm as toast in the rabbit bomber…a solid investment…and the laughers turned into believers quickly as the wind whistled between their ears…

HA! See, I told you so.

If on your trip to the White this year you should get what we got on our last trip there, you will wish you had my hat.
Ever fished in a Thunder snow? We didn’t either but we did BBQ some ribs in it. There was 8 or 9″ of snow on the ground the next morning.
Luckily, we had stored the boat at Gaston’s covered dock and were able to get back on the water.
