The Itinerant AnglerEveryone likes to make Christmas lists.
Mine would include a new long-handled net, Wm. Joseph’s new Old School Backpack, SmartWool socks, and a GPS unit.

You’ll love the Pelican whenever you take that kayak out but any other time you aren’t in a boat it will be nothing more than a cumbersome way to haul around a body and a lens or two.

MemberI’d love a new 8wt Helios for some great streamer ripping action. Also, I could really use some new 9.5′ cataract oars.
Will settle for the usual, several hundred meter spools of fluoro tippet, 20 or so leaders and four or five hundred packs of hooks.

MemberA new Scadden with casting platform and leaning bar.
Waders.
Double-sided clipless pedals that will double for both road and mountain bike with shoes that will prevent this klutz from crashing and burning while walking in them! (Not fish related but certainly ‘wish’ related!) 😉
A host of heavily discounted fly lines to play with like Sharkskin, Rio Gold!
Water to fill the rivers, streams and lakes around here!Dec 2, 2007 at 7:08 pm #21503Anonymous

You see…this is just the kind of expert info you can assertain here at IA!
Thanks Carter.

Bob RigginsMemberActually I made my list and so far I know all of it has be bought.
1. Boga Grip, a redfish just stole my old Berkley Pocket Grip right out of my hand.
2. Willow creel with leather harness.Dec 3, 2007 at 4:11 pm #21506matt boutet
MemberI had a tough time putting this year’s together, but after a bit of head scratching I came up with a bunch of things I’d been meaning to buy but hadn’t quite gotten around to picking up:
Joby Gorrilapod SLR
Color calibration system for my monitor
2008 Hunting/Fishing license
Replacement front & back caps for my Sigma lenses (great glass, but the caps are miserable)
Extra QR plate for my ballheadDec 3, 2007 at 6:58 pm #21507jeff s
MemberI’d like for the world to be at peace and no hunger.
Barring that, a nice 7wt rod and a new Fishpond vest isn’t going to hurt a thing.
