Enjoyed listening to this one on my way into the office this morning! Kind of a bummer that Iceland rivers are mostly private/gov owned. Sounds amazing, though.

Nice interview. I worked with Jason for a couple summers in Colorado years ago – he’s a great dude and ace photographer too. The Midfjardara sounds amazing.

Does anyone have experience using hitched tubes on trout? I have a couple local trout rivers that I’d like to try them on.

Seriously. They are using some crazy tactics. I am going to Iceland next summer for my honeymoon. I can’t wait.

Listened to the podcast this morning. Was interesting to hear how the Salmon actively come up through the water for the fly. With the brown trout fishing there are quite a few rivers that are reasonably priced that you can get fishing on yourself without having to use a guide. When I went I couldn’t afford to get a guide so did everything solo and caught some nice fish. I didn’t catch any huge fish but I’d say if I was to fish the same river again I’d have a better chance. I wish I was going back this month.
