The web is hard. I can make left-aligned design read like a dream on a printed page, same with justified. I just hate justified because it takes so much manual time to make it look really perfect – which makes the gaps really pop for me) I changed from a full width web page to a fixed width just because the type was driving me crazy. I need to get past the type issue on the web and just keep rolling with the real reason for web design. I could be annoying and make a complete flash site that is really slow but looks the way I want.
Your new design looks great. I like it.
A tip on finding extra spaces when editing print. Turn the page upside down. They pop of the page like hoppers in August.
