    Hi Guy’s

Just bought a cool underwaterhousing for my dslr. It was 99,- euro’s and can go up to 5m! will house a D700 + 17-35mm –> no vingetting at 17mm! Haven’t done a test because all the water is frozen over here. But I am taking it with me for a flats fishing trip in april for sure!

    It’s called a dicapac wp-s10 b.t.w !

I believe we have a few folks on the message board that use the bag-type UW housings. Check the Underwater Photography thread for some neat examples.

    Hi Olle,

I bought it in The Netherlands at a shop called kamera-express.nl.
But if I were you I would look for a shop in the USA, because of the
current exchange rates etc. Hope this helps a little!

Thnx Maarten, for me it is easier to drive there (from Amsterdam) then order in the US and pay shipment and tax

Maarten…if you go that route…I’d love to see some of the photos.

Like any U/W housing…..check it for leaks prior to placing your camera in it. Good luck….Steve

I bought one of these straight away and like it a lot. It has given my old 5D a new purpose in life. I would like to see the bellows set up for the lens be able to be pinned back, there is some vignetting if you don’t hold it but its minimal. Think I’ll need to use some gaffer tape somewhere. Its durability may be of some concern but I’ll use a soft cooler pack to store the camera and the housing when its not in use. I think it will pay for itself very quickly.
