    I can’t say enough good about my fishing experiences with the guys at Shallow Water Expeditions out of Watercolor, FL so I will let the pictures tell you.

    On flies or spinning gear? Not that it matters, those are some brutes!

    Dave, I really wanted to pull one in on a fly but we could not get the weather to cooperate and had limited sight fishing opportunities.

    We were using medium action 8-17lb 7′ rods with shimano 4000 reels
    40lb braid and 15lb floro leaders – on par with what you would use for bass fishing which makes for long fights and sore forearms
