The temps going to be 90 degrees here today, touted in the local newspaper in helena as the first day of summer….   This may be what fly fishermen have been waiting for, dont now for sure, ive been nymphing and will keep at that..

I hunt in the fall, and have never fished that country..  Water levels  may be low, and clear, be ready for snow..   Your guide will be great for what will happen in any event, and has a bag of tricks to make you smile, and come back soon, tell all your friends how great it was, to keep himself in buisiness..  Ive heard fall is excellent all over ,big  browns spawn in the fall is all I Know…  Hunting season is number one on the  sportsmans lists here then, so you probably have lots of room, eager trout, and excellent fishing..
We see it snow on the 4th of july once in a great while…  If you want to be comfortable be ready for any kind of weather and  gorgeous scenery, and little worrys of forest shutdowns becouse of fire, that time of year…….
Speaking of fire, a friend of mine is on a fire crew and older and very experienced..  He said “we can expect a probably bad fire season becouse of all the spring rain, high grass, and fuel build up,”…
