Anybody have any experience with this camera? With its form factor and RAW support it might be a great camera for those days when you don’t feel like carrying the mother of all cameras around. The thing I hate about point and shoot cameras is they don’t go bang exactly when you pull the trigger.
Derrick Story, (thedigitalstory.com) noted digirati had good things to say about the G9. He uses it with the underwater housing and as a knock around street camera. Check out his podcast its pretty good.

I have one too. Publishable-quality images, files accepted by all major agencies. Suburb image quality at ISO 200 or lower. GREAT in-camera image stitch feature that will knock your socks off. Certainly not a substitute for a dslr rig, but amazing little camera.

    In a word – Awesome !

It’s the pick of the compacts at the moment IMO.

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.

I found this review on Luminous Landscape about the G9. This is a pretty impressive little camera. The accessories that this person used are interesting too.
