The jaws look fine. It is the adjustment screw from my renzetti traveler. I had a size four in it and finished tying and removed it. I was gathering some stuff to tie a size ten fly and heard a pop. My dog and I both looked at the vise, but I could not see anything wrong. When I went to adjust the jaws it fell out in my fingers. I was not happy to say the least. I have heard they will replace it if I call them.
Call Renzetti. I had a screw fail after several years use – they replaced quickly. `Said they had a batch of bad ones at one time.

Tough break KB (pun intended).
