Cold temps and gale force winds may force most fly fisherman to the vice and a few cold ones…but seeing as how I haven’t had much time on the water I’ll take what I can get. So I layered up and rigged my 7’6″ 7wt and a good power taper line that would cut through the wind. With the lake still turning over there wasn’t much going on. I had 2 rise to my indicator and I missed one on a small chartreuse Depth Charge SH…I finally brought 2 to hand on an orange Depth Charge SH…after that it was time to go home and warm up…all in all it was a great time on the water…
