MemberHi all, a mate of mine recently found this lifter dead beside a favourite stretch of river, he estimates it at around the 20 pound mark.

MemberSteve, spot on mate, I’ve also heard of a few more “corkers” being caught from the river this season.

MemberCharlie – a kelpie man eh! I have one too, great dogs, getting a little long in the tooth now but she’s been my fishing companion for many years. Used to chase the tuft of wool when I practised casting in the park – now there’s a good way to exercise a dog.
She’s a real studnet of casting. I recall with a smile on my face one day when we were going fishing the dog, as a youngster, taking a dump on the back seat of Dave Anderson’s new car. He still cries about it.

MemberMorsie, a dog trainer once described kelpies to me this way: “Kelpies? Ah, yes, they’re a bossy breed!”

David AndersonMemberMy fellow IA forum readers,
Can I ask you a question ?
If you were taking your BRAND NEW 4×4 on it’s first outing with your best mate and he asked if he could bring his dog along claiming that she wouldn’t be a problem and that same dog took a dump on the back seat of your BRAND NEW 4×4 would you be happy about it ?

Guss the dog wasn’t as impressed with the new truck as you were ;D
Jeff
It did turn out to be a piece of crap – maybe the dog knows more than it was letting on ?

clark reidMemberDavid, if you will pay the shipping expenses I be only to happy to lend you Brick… my pride and joy. It will take me a couple of weeks to train him to dump on command, but he will.
I will need him back by May for the Pheasant season, his brother and me will take care of the rabbit population in his absense.
Unfortunetly I just realised Peter has met Brick in the past and did make quite a fuss of him… It’s possible Peter will just want to take him fishing in the back of the Volvo…
You can judge a man by the size of things which annoy him.
