    Hi

    Slowly the snow and ice is starting to fade , giving way to flooding in Southern Manitoba . We drain around 1.2 million sq kilometers  so we are the sump pit for much of Western Canada:)))

    I love winter , but spring is always such a tender and hopefull event-

    Was out in a bog and found these poking up –


    and

    gotta love carvivorous plants they are so optimistic:)))

    Bugs are on their way!!

    Found this fellow with more amorous intentions given his croaking- a wee Wood frog-

    Ty for the kind words- glad you enjoyed the pics.

    John- no focus stacking – I have been doing some big stacks using the dslr on a microscope – up to 120 individual image
