I found a new pond and caught a bunch of these guys on Sunday and did it all casting left handed! I was getting some decent casts of 25-30 feet after working it a bit. I am happy with that, for now.

It works! Zach, that is a very cool feature.

I caught some of them last weekend on a Comparadun. They almost always swallowed the fly and removal is complicated with Gerber’s. I tore up several flies in the process but I love that aggressive topwater take.

I was actually trying to get some bass to come up and used several different poppers. I could not believe some of the smaller ones fit em in their mouth. All of them were like little bombs exploding when they took. Very fun and exciting fishing.

Nice, I’ve been away from the board and email for a bit but its good to see your making progress with the left handed thing.

Nice, I’ve been away from the board and email for a bit but its good to see your making progress with the left handed thing.  Like I said I’ve cast a bit with the left hand but I can’t say as i’ve actually caught anything left handed, thats got to feel pretty good, especially when its your only option.

I tried it left handed and all the problems I used to have with my right hand are now on my left. It’s funny how casting isn’t as much about knowing what to do and more about muscle memory.

I tend to agree with you Mike.
