    Zach, Read your article on welding your own fly line loops with a hair straightening iron, and can’t seem to figure out … how do you initially get the two pieces to initially stick / stay together (inside to inside)? Great article. Thanks.

    Pressure and heat, but it helps to have something to hold them in place.
