
I got approached last winter to do a piece for an magazine so exclusive they don’t even actually sell the magazine. Instead it gets sent to “high net worth individuals” as a courtesy, apparently mostly by hedge funds trying to do business with them. It was an interesting experience. Keep in mind this is targeted at a general audience.

FLY FISHING IS KNOWN as “the quiet sport,” said to be good for the soul. It is also a last bastion–one of the few outdoor pastimes which maintains a clear path back to its own traditions today.
