Tim AngeliMemberRe: Mallett. You’re welcome. 😉
Arkansas should be real solid this year.

Steve K.MemberLast time I went to Athens for a football game a drunken frat boy poured beer on me. My team won and his did not.
I’d suggest watching from the crib….Sorry Zach…I’m no help.

MemberShould be a good game. As a Dawg fan, I’m a little concerned. Arkansas has a great offense, probably better than South Carolina’s. We’ll learn a lot this Saturday. No shortage of good restaurants and pubs downtown. Enjoy.

MemberThere is an outside chance I will be at the game. I’m still waiting to know for sure. I have a friend who graduated from UGA. I know he knows the places to eat. I’ll see what he says.
If the Hogs don’t quit playing to the level of their competition instead of playing to the level of their ability I may get an ulcer this year. I thought Petrino might get that out of their system, but it seems to be part of their DNA.

MemberI’ll be in town, but will not be at the game. Unfortunately I’m not a football fan. You’ll have lots of options for drinks and dining downtown (if parked towards north end of campus) or in the fivepoints area (if parked on south end of campus). To the south, I’m partial to Calientitos (low price, festive atmosphere, outside seating) with Cuban food right next to campus. Unfortunately BYOB and they charge you to bring it. A block away Kelly’s has decent Jamaican cuisine in a low-key atmosphere. Downtown is nothing but food and drink.
Duncan E or Gary G are expert foodies and could really point you right.

The Itinerant AnglerPetrino used about 10 percent of his playbook against ULM and insisted on running the ball despite their gameplan of stacking the box.

My wife and I had some tickets lined up, but we decided that we need to work in the yard on Saturday. We’ll be tuned in via WSB. Maybe next time.
Burgers/Fries – The Grill
Home style veggies – 5 Star Day Cafe
The Grit – Michael Stype’s trendy fusion restaurant.
Barberitos – The best burrito and tomatillo sauce period.Sep 22, 2010 at 11:55 am #44776
