This is a body I plan to pick up at some point. Maybe when it’s 5 years old and I can snatch it off a rejects pile…
Not seeing them anywhere Zach.
Never seen one in the flesh, never run into anyone using one.
I think they’re a cool look, but are very expensive for what they are.
IMHO, Nikon missed the bus on this one.
The new 750, on the other hand –

Nikon generally has them available marked down as refurbished. About every other month they do a 10% off sale on this site.
Great sensor, same as in my D4S but has, reportedly, better noise control at higher ISO.
Once you get a 10 pound lens to go with it, you will be able to make some of those minnows look like trophy fish. 🙂
I have one, have used it a bit. It does have a cool look to it, and it shoots well in low light, but the dials take awhile to get used to. I still prefer my D800.
