Ahh, thanks for that! I just picked up a macbook pro from the refurb store so it should be compatible and I don’t have alot installed on it yet other then lightroom.

I read mixed reviews but alot of the negs seemed like people installing it on borderline compatible machines or people who didn’t read that it wasn’t going to work with some of the older software. It looks pretty nice, can’t wait to try it out.

I have been running it for several days now and really like it.

    Jay,

It took me a couple days with the scrolling to get comfortable with it but now I love it.

I love “Mission Control”.  I use it everyday.  Having multiple (virtual) desktops keeps things in order for me.  I have a work desktop, “Post” desktop with my imagery, and other desktops when running other programs.  Multi touch is slick!  As you mentioned the new email features is much much better.

Would you say you need a touchpad to really benefit from the upgrade?

Also, is this the standard Mac deal where you can actually pick up one copy for like $30 and put it on as many machines as you want, or does it finally have some kind of DRM that detects multiple copies on the same network?

You can install it on every Apple machine you own as long as it’s compatible.

Would you say you need a touchpad to really benefit from the upgrade?  I’m using a iMac, don’t have a touchpad, and had to go to a microsoft mouse to make the one windows app that i run daily work properly.

    Eric,
