Any guys here fish from prams?

The “raft vs. boat” thread got me to wondering if anybody here fishes from a pram (or any similar very small boat).
As for shuttling, my problem is that I’m usually in places where I don’t want to leave the boat (or the bike) unattended.
Bike lock man!
Lock a bike to a tree, use the same lock to lock the boat up.
people tend to not mess with a registered boat. Or I have been lucky so far.
I do the bike thing as well…..bought a cheap mountain bike off craigslist. Dump the boat upstream….drive truck and trailer to downstream ramp. Ride bike back up to the boat. Chain it to a tree or throw it in the boat.
I realize this is going to depend on a lot of factors, but do you find you can at least ballpark how it will take you to drift a certain distance?

You do have to park your car on the same river you’re driftifting.

Well, years ago in Alabama I traded in my registered 15′ bassboat for a larger 18′ Tracker at a dealer in Birmingham. Six weeks later I was being visited by Tennessee police saying they found my 15′ boat abandoned on the Cumberland river. The dealer sold it the day after I traded it in, it was subsequently stolen, and then apparently the thief abandoned it.
I don’t fish from Prams because they leak and there’s no room for gear.
