    I found another one in my yard this evening. Fall is a common time to see snakes–between young ones making their first appearance, some species mating in the fall, and all seeking places to hibernate for the winter. Be aware.

    Beautiful and tiny little guys. Glad we don’t have them in CA, but I do love their colors.
