    I recently picked up an Acer Iconia A500 Tablet running Android.  Not really sure if it will fit into my photography work much, but has anyone else went non-Ipad tablet yet?  If so, do you have any “must have” apps that aide in photography or general use.  Would be cool to have something like ViewNX for Android or LightRoom for android(I know…..i should have went with an Ipad if I wanted lightroom).

    For photography work why didn’t you pick up the new iPad with the brilliant retina display?

    I got the tablet on the cheap, otherwise if i was going to drop money I would have.

    I wasn’t trying to start an Android vs iPad war, but since the ultra high res (2048 x 1536) screen of the new iPad seems to match the needs of professional photographers more than any other tablet on the market I thought you might have to see it for yourself.

    Btw, the connection discussion is pretty old. Get a USB / sd card connection kit at eBay for less than $5 incl. shipping and you’re all done. Same goes for Hdmi cable etc.

    Don’t forget the quality & quantity of apps, especially tablet dedicated apps.
