American Angler Photo Call

Hey guys –

Phil asked me to post his photo call for the next issue of American Angler.

Here are my photo needs for the July/August issue of American Angler.

1. Largemouth bass in HEAVY weeds. I especially need a horizontal opening shot that shows either an angler working a serious weedbed or a closeup of a bass covered in weeds, with fly in mouth.

2. Closeup of a trout with a Hopper in its mouth and photos of anglers fishing hoppers. Horizontals and verticals.

3. Dry-fly steelhead: shots of fish with flies in mouth and of anglers swinging drys. A picture of the vee-wake of a dry fly skating across a tailout would fill me with unmixed delight.

4. A gorgeous horizontal of Idaho’s St. Joe River.

5. Cover: We’re now looking for more “outside the box” images for the cover, trying spice things up a bit. Image should be trout or steelhead-related and should be seasonally appropriate.

I need submissions ASAP, please.
