Ive never seen a fiberglass jet boat.. That doesnt mean that there isnt one or many.. Imagine driving on an icey road at 10 mph, you loose controle, slide into a tree and you impact at the drivers door..
You get out and look and there is a dent the size of a silver dollar 1/4 inche deep.. That is what needs to happen with a jet boat.. Just a tiny dent from any direction side, front back or bottom… When you learn a river you will be quite accostomed to each and every rock, and remember each one well.. You can patch a fiberglass boat, but if you punch a hole in it she will take on water pretty fast.. A fiberglass driftboat is much lighter and the force wont be any where near as much when you impact a jagged rock or ice.. The jet motor on a jet boat
