    Abel Reels are great reels and they may be “overkill” for freshwater fishing, they are absolutely dependable in the salt. Lifetime guarantee. I personally think you can’t go wrong with them, or with a Tibor

    I agree with Salty Ryan, they are exceptional reels and hard to beat up. I have a few and love everything about them–except the low end of the drag. In my opinion it cranks down too much and is prone to free-spooling.

    I have a collection of Abel reels from BG-.5 to BG-4.5N however, the Super series is my favorite.
