Where is all the Summer pics? I drop in hoping to see your recents. Such a great time of year. Throw em up! I hope all of you are doing well. I have been busy and it was a great to get out this past evening. A couple from today.

Nice work Jason! What’s your synch speed in that last shot?

It’s winter down here in NZ. Nearly the shortest day, but last Friday was treated to a nice Rainbow picking off the top. Pretty to watch.

Very nice shot Stu. Love the color in that shot. I will check exif on the last shot. I hyper-synched that last shot so I will have to check on it for you when I get a second. I was using a MiniTT1 in combination with the FlexTT5.

Thanks for looking that up Jason. For some reason I was expecting that to be up over 1/250. I don’t use flash too much, so I need to get my head around that.

No problem. f18 for the starburst, falling light = higher ISO and longer shutter speed. The hypersync speeds work wonders with action and mid day light. Glad I could help.

I think the flash ads a lot to the original shot Jay – nicely balanced.
That said, the ambient version rocks as well..
