I do PC work on the side for friends, i.e. if they need advice, email help or problems with hardware etc. One of the hardest things any PC owner faces is when their PC crashes and they believe they have lost data.
What’s even worse than simply having a crash, failed hard drive, etc and facing the loss of data can be stressful and even more so when the data happens to be your business. I have several friends who I have retrieved data and actually rebuilt, or refurbished their PC’s giving them back their business data. I have also assisted them in proper data management techniques given the type of PC they have and what hardware they have that can help them, i.e. external or network drives, CD, DVD or BD drives and of course thumb drives.
One of my friends who runs their business from their PC also happens to be my neighbor and the photographer who took the photo used in my book, The Cracker Barrel. Without my knowledge she requested that photo and one of my dog Levi from my wife and last week I found out why.
Here are sketches a local artist, Li Ming, did from those photos. They are on the wall straight I’m just a tad wobbly today and sorry the glass picked up what was behind me.
