Last summer I had the pleasure of staying in Buena Vista, CO for an entire month working at young life camp. I got a chance to take a Sony point and shoot out and mess around. Funny thing is it has taken until now for me to sit down and get them off my camera. I took a few favorites, messed with them in aperture, and put them on flickr. Just wondering if I could get some feedback.

This summer I am working at another Younglife camp in BC Canada for a month. This time I’ll be prepared with a Nikon D60.

Jay, Buena Vista area is one of my favorite areas of Col., esp. Cottonwood pass.

I really like the Cross shot and the Chalet. Both those images have something to draw you into the photo.

Scott, thanks for taking the time to look at my pics. about the chalet scene: It originally was more about documenting the sign and less about the chalet. I realize the sign is not that interesting compared to the chalet itself. For some reason I just liked it. For graduation I am going to get a d60 or d40x. Then I will be able to get filters, change exposures, and worry about other settings. I wish I had more than just a sony point and shoot on automatic at the time. I realize that the other landscape shots, although beautiful, lacked subjects or points of interest. Again thanks for the help.

    Jay
