Took last week off for some fall fishing and getting-away-from-it-all. A storm moved through Monday night and shut the creek fishing down tighter’n a drum. But we stayed at great cabins in a great La. state park full of fantastic gardens, and my favorite stream was only an hour away.
First, some shots at the park:
The two fish of the week. Even the pumpkinseed-longear sunfish weren’t pestering me to death by pulling on the legs of the poppers:
