After reading on another forum about Fly Reels You Can Ill Afford Not To Buy, I thought of what reel (if I could afford it) would I like to buy — OK OK make that the fly reel that unfortunately I can ill afford to buy — and the Tibor Spey Reel, http://www.tiborreel.com/spey.html , came to mind — here’s how one website describes it:

Fits: 8/9/10 to 10/11/12 lines with up to 350 yards of #30 Micron BackingIt’s a beautiful looking reel — obviously very well constructed — and being of part Irish descent, I love the Celtic knot circling the reel — but while I’m sure it’s worth every penny to those who can afford one, it’s just too pricey for my budget — but then again it is color coded to match that Sage Z-Axis Spey rod I’ve also had my eye on — now if I ever win the lottery…..but then again it is nearly Christmas….

I should be getting mine shortly. I’m putting that bad boy on my 8129-4 Z-axis, its going to look sick. I got to play around a lot with the reel at a spey clave and had it on the 10150-4 TCX and that was awesome. Pretty cool feeling having two grand in your hands.
