Zach and anyone else that can offer suggestions-

This summer I am going on a combination backpacking/ fly fishing trip and I am going to have to leave the digital behind as packing 10 pounds of AA batteries isn’t that appealing and I won’t have a laptop to download them to until I get back to Florida; my memory stick is painfully inadequeate. So I am thinking about purchasing a 35mm film camera since 10 rolls of film weighs less than the batteries and I don’t have to worry about missing any great shots because my memory was full. Does anyone have suggestions on a point and shoot or even an SLR 35mm that would work well for this trip? I am a complete photography beginner, so any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Ryan

    Hey Ryan –

The lightest full-capability SLR camera on the market that I know of is the Nikon N75, which was an almost all-plastic, made-for-women camera that we actually have.
