Feb 26, 2007 at 5:27 pm #61106 Don ThompsonMember I have the same feelings about refurbished equipment that I do with used cars. I buy what I think is well made, reliable, and I keep it until it is unusable, therefore I want it factory new when I buy it. I know others will disagree. Having a young family, mortagage, etc etc, I have tried and tried to figure out a way to afford a D40 or D50 but just can seem to justify the $. Option #1 – look for a good deal on a refurbished D50 and possibly get a warranty on the lense so that in years to come I can just get a new body. Option #2 – Buy something like a Fuji S6000.
