    It hard to believe there are 30″+ Rainbows and 20″+ Cutts cruising under this: Trout Lake, Yellowstone National Park, December 30, 2009

    I’d love to see Slough Creek, wonder if the second meadow stretch is froze over ?

    Slough and Lamar are solid in the valley so I suspect the 2nd meadow is too!

    Mike…that certainly sounds like a lake that is worth a look when the temps warm next summer.

    I remember when we hiked up to Trout lake in 2007 and did this because we had nothing better going on that day.

    I love that place.  Pulled a fair number of good cutts out of there this passed summer and had a solid two foot rainbow eat my caddis.

    Mike why don’t you ice fish it? Not nearly as fun but it would be interesting to see what you hooked up.
