MemberNice weekend to say the least. Those are some sweet looking fish Micah. To catch that many nice fish in one weekend has got to be a personal best or something?
I see you have Patagonia waders. How do you like them? I have just recieved my second pair of wadmasters from them at no charge after sending them in for repairs. There customer service is first rate in my book.Oct 13, 2008 at 6:28 pm #30044Rick Marcum
MemberMicah, did you get those guys on streamers?

MemberChad – the big dark brown is a tad on the large side, but the rest are fairly ‘typical’ for the waters from which they came. Out of 40+ fish this weekend, I’d guess 6 or 7 were less than 18″ in length.
I really dig the Patagonia waders. I purchased them based on the excellent reviews and customer service comments. Plus, I’ve been a Patagonia fan for life. I still have a mountaineering jacket and some long underwear I bought in high school that have been abused plenty and are still perfectly functional (31 years old). I had a little run-in with some barbed wire and did some self-repair, but otherwise haven’t had an issue with the waders. Since last January, I’ve put 85-90 days in this pair (don’t wear them much for summer fishing).
Rick – the rainbows this weekend came on little dries. The browns came on a variety of little nymphs. There just wasn’t enough of a hatch to get them up, so we had to go under. I just don’t streamer fish much… I find for every one I can get to eat a streamer, there are 5 or 6 of that size or better that will gladly eat a nymph (or dry fly for that matter). Either I’m lazy or just a glutton. ;D

MemberThey had the choice between a nymph and garden hackle. Who am I to judge?
Tell me more about your gentleman’s worm… You can never have too many flavors of worm in our region. Do you have a good corn kernel pattern, too?
