Podcast: From Kiwi to Kashmir with Brian O’Keefe

“Naw, Georgia O’Keeffe spelled her name with two F’s.” |

Brian O’Keefe has been many things in his life–professional ski instructor, professional photographer, fly fisherman, and world traveler–but above all, he’s been excellent. Few anglers have achieved the level of skill Brian takes for granted, whether in fishing or photography. Listen carefully, because in this uncommonly generous interview, Brian gives a lot of advice to the budding professional photographer, and it’s the kind of advice money can’t buy. Along the way he’ll take us from New Zealand to the India/Pakistan border, where an armed confrontation ends as all should: with someone buying a beer! Next week: Dr. Robert Behnke, author of “Trout and Salmon of North America” and the namesake of the iconic onchornychus clarki behnkeii–the Snake River Fine-Spotted Cutthroat Trout . |
