    I wish Andy was on more, his shows were great and every so often VS has a location X or Chasing Silver night…always enjoy them!

    I remember the older Fly Fish america shows in college and I think he was from Kottenai? Montana area with a fly shop there.

    Bassmaster shows have taken over, tooo funny watching those guys and their 50 patches of John deere and Valvoline in Bright yellow or pink!! 😀

    You don’t have any beef jerke or Viagra patches on your waders?

    watched ‘aspen extreme’ a few weeks ago, great cameo in that!

    does anyone remember the name of the host of the ‘fly fishing america’ where the guy drove around in a jeep cherokee and fished all over the states? i want to say that dalhberg bumped into him guiding in mongolia for the taimen hunt for big fish episode.

    that was the show that got me up early on sat morning when i was in highschool.

    he would end the show by writing in a journal.

    Don’t forget Andy’s patented “interlocking finger high five” after he is finished “taming the beast” that just “put holes in the water the size of a Volkswagen.”

    Mill is the man.

    I’ve tied a few mice using stacked ram’s wool/sculpin wool and a foam back/head for added bouyancy.

    I like to tie big, black streamers using magnum zonker strips with a little flash – the fly really pushes a lot of water and the dark color makes it easier for fish to see at night.

    Sportsman Journal with Andy Mill is my all-time favorite fishing show.  There are no fishing shows that even come close in my humble opinion.

    Favorite Quote from one of the elite episodes:

    “[Andy’s banshee yell]….can you smell that poon!?” Referring to the 150 lb Tarpon he just ripped that was excreting crab sh#t all over the skiff.

    Looks like I’m going to be fishing from a kayak with a friend from Houston next Friday and running the coast in my buddies Curlew on Saturday….Just praying for good weather.

    The bottom line is, Mexico becoming increasingly dangerous. I often work very close to the border and I am becoming very disturbed at the trends in violence, kidnapping, murder, extortion, etc.
