    Hey guys –

    I need examples of “natural finish” or “snakebelly” rods for an article I am writing.  I can think of the Scott G2 and the old Orvis Clearwater – can any of you think of any other models that never get their ridges sanded off?

    Walmart sells a 10′ cane pole. Unsanded nodes and all.

    Zach, I’ve been a lurker for a long time and rarely (read almost never) post here. I do like the looks of the site. The only change I would make is a smaller pic of you and a larger pic of Lauren.

    Orvis Far and Fine. (7’9″ 5wt full flex).
    Get an older Clearwater version on eBay for about $100. If you don’t like, resell it the next day for what you paid for it.
    I think you’ll like it.
